Huron in a storm. |

| The Patrons of husbandry #52 was organized with Mrs. Delia
Lewis as master of the grange in Demster. |

| Dempster camp ground formed. First camp meeting 3,500 people
attended. |
| All distilleries out of business. This was Temperance Town. |

| The hamlet of Dempster filed for a Post Office in Dempster.
Someone in Washington left out the P, so it became Demster. |
