1913

William Wetmore died at the home of Dr. Wetmore. Mr. Wetmore served in the 184th regiment in the Civil War.

1916

Milo Bledden painted a picture of Christ on the wall in the front of the sanctuary.
A president Roosevelt declared war on Germany.  Beginning of our involvement in World War 1, 1916.

1917

A.A. Hamlin turned the running of the Basket Factory over to his son-in-law A.C. Duell.
 

1918

In June, Charles Gero killed his wife, his brother and his grand-daughter.
October 6-Harrison Weldon died of wounds received in September at Hindenburg Line Battle in World War I
October 6-Clarence Hamlin died of wounds received in World War I
W.W.1 ended with New Haven losing 2 men-Clarence Hamlin and Harrison Weldon.
