1934 |
| C. Shepard died. |
| New vault built in cemetery and a wrought iron fence
installed and a brick gate post was put at the entrance with an
iron gate. |

1936 |
| Civil war monument moved from down in the cemetery near
Doyle lot to its present location. |

1938 |
| Mexico school district, centralized and the country schools,
started closing down. |
| District #5 New Haven closed. Town line was the last to
close in the 1950's. |

1939 |
| Dances were held every Saturday night at Grange Hall. Both
Round and Square. Admission 35 cents. |
